Our wedding day was one we’ve looked forward to and it was mixed with too many emotions due to the pandemic. It was an emotional morning for me, I think I cried all through from the moment I woke up till it was time for hair and makeup. We requested to have our first look without our bridal party and it was absolutely the best. We admired each other’s outfit and reaffirmed our trust and love for each other before taking the big next step. Our vows had both of us and our friends in tears but it was deep and genuine. Walking into the reception hall, we were in Awe of how beautiful everything turned out to be ! All our numerous discussions and decisions came together and it was everything we dreamed. As we experienced the wedding day from start to finish, we couldn’t believe how much fun we were having and we both love to party together. Our wedding was supposed to be done by 12am but we partied till 2am! We didn’t want any of it to end.
YOUR TOP 3 BEST MOMENTS AND WHY:
- Bridal Gift exchange with my bridesmaids and groomsmen : I was super emotional and cried from the moment I got off the bed until it was time for my make up. I’m not sure if anyone knows this but the moment I saw my bridesmaids in their robes , my mood was elevated. These ladies were here for me! It was my day and I had to cherish it. As I called everyone in to get their gift each of them warmed my heart with their aura. I love them and they love me. And for the groomsmen it was a well thought through gift and we wanted to show them how much we care and appreciate them.
- Exchanging our vows: those words meant everything to us, it was things that We’ve never said out in public before , maybe a few to our faces but here we were announcing to the whole world of about 70 people lol that I choose we choose each other.
- The after party: we love partying with each other! We get each other on the dance floor lol
WEDDING SONG, EXPLAIN CHOICE OF SONG:
Only you by Ric Hassani We took a long drive to a friend’s wedding towards the end of 2017, during the journey that song played on the radio and we replayed it more than 100 times. Coincidentally at that friend’s wedding it was played and we danced to it by the corner where no one could see! It easily became our song and wasn’t a hard choice for it to become our first dance song

- Decor: everything about the decor was perfect and intentional! It all matched our theme colours and the details were exceptional. I loved the flowers hanging over the dance floor, I wanted it and my planner made it happen.!

- Cake! My cake was simple and gorgeous and I loved it. It tasted amazing and it fit perfectly with the decor. It was positioned close to the window with the view of the trees and the lake view!
